The commentator is responsible for welcoming the assembly and making the announcements before mass begins. During the mass, the commentator leads the assembly in the Prayer of the Faithful (intercessions). Lectors and other ministers may be commentators, but not at the same mass when serving in another ministry.

Commitment: an evening of formation and training; ongoing formation once a year; scheduled at the mass of your choice approximately twice a month.
