Confirmation preparation begins in grade 7, by introducing community service to the students. Community service at church, school, home and in your community is required. The 8th grade year is dedicated to preparing for and learning about the Sacrament of Confirmation, by being an active, young adult in the community. What it means to be a Confirmed Catholic.
In order to be confirmed, a student:
- must complete two(2) consecutve years of religious education
- Participate in Sunday or Saturday liturgy (mass)
- Involved in community service project
- Attend Confirmation Retreat
- Retreat fee $50.00
Parent/Sponsor involvement is encouraged
